Product Description

Dova MPP 307 is a salt of melamine and phosphoric acid, suitable for use as a component for formulating intumescent flame - retardant systems. Above 200 °C melamine phosphate reacts to melamine pyrophosphate, releasing water, which will result in a heat sink effect.

DovaFR MPP307 may be use in fabrics, nylons, paint, paper and plastics as flame retardant. DovaFR MPP307 compatible with melamine-urea formaldehyde systems. It is also shown uses in the electronic industry when incorporated in the manufacturing of circuit boards and other equipment. It is applied in epoxy and other adhesive compositions to achieve fire retardant barriers in glue lines in wood and plastic laminates.

Storage

DovaFR MPP307 is non-hygroscopic. However, when stored in open container, the product can still absorb small amounts of moisture owing to the high surface area of the powder. It is in sealed containers at room temperature in a dry place. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.

Minimum shelf life is 24months from the date of shipping when stored according to the said conditions.
