Product Description
DovaFR ZB 311 is an inorganic compound, a borate of zinc. It is a white crystalline or amorphous powder insoluble in water, but amorphous powder soluble in HCl. It is used as an eco- friendly inorganic flame retardant.

Applications
DovaFR ZB 311 may be applied to a wide range of plastics and rubber processing, such as PVC, PP, PE, Nylon, PVC Resin, polyphenylene ethylene, epoxy resin, polyester resin, acid ethylene and natural rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, and chloroprene rubber.
DovaFR ZB 311 is used to the production of paper, fiber fabric, decorative panels, floor leather, wallpaper, carpet, ceramic glaze, fungicides, and paint production to improve flame retardant performance.
In halogen-containing systems, can be used together with antimony trioxide and alumina trihydrate
In halogen-free systems, can be used together with alumina trihydrate, magnesium hydroxide, red phosphorus, and ammonium polyphosphate.

DovaFR ZB 311 is supplied in 25 kg bags / 1.000 kg shrink-wrapped pallets.

Storage
DovaFR ZB 311 is non-hygroscopic. However, when stored in open container, the product can still absorb small amounts of moisture owing to the high surface area of the powder. It is in sealed containers at room temperature in a dry place. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
Minimum shelf life is 24months from the date of shipping when stored according to the said conditions.
