Product Description

DovaFR PBT 3140is an excellent flame retardant for use in engineering plastics such as polyamides, polyesters, thermosets and elastomers. It is a halogen-free flame retardant based on organic phosphinates, white powder. DovaFR PBT 3140 is not hygroscopic and is insoluble in water and common organic solvents like acetone, dichloromethane, MEK, toluene and etc.

Applications

DovaFR ADP 330 is considerable non-halogen flame retardant, which can be used as a halogen-free flame retardant for polyamides, polyesters, thermoset resins in electrical engineering and electronics (E&E) applications for switches, plugs, PC fans, and structural and housing components.

It is suited for both glass-fiber-reinforced and unreinforced grades with good mechanical and electrical properties.

Recommended dosage
In high temperature polyamides of PA 6T/66 type, a dosage of approx. 10 % (by wt.) ADP-30 is usually sufficient to obtain the
UL 94 V-0 classification for electrical compounds (at 1.6 as well as 0.8 mm thicknesses). Subject to the polymer grade, processing conditions and glass fiber reinforcement the dosage of the flame retardant may vary.

DovaFR ADP 330is supplied in 25 kg craft paper bag / 1.000 kg shrink-wrapped pallet.

Storage

DovaFR ADP 330 is in sealed containers at room temperature in a dry place. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.

Minimum shelf life is 24months from the date of shipping when stored according to the said conditions.
