DM STMP 108 is a metaphosphate of sodium with empirical formula NaPO3. It is a sodium salt of trimetaphosphoric acid and colorless solid that finds specialized applications in food and construction industries.

Application

DM STMP 108 may be used in food as starch modifier, juice turbidity inhibitor; water retention agent, water softener, meat binder,
dispersant. It is also applied in ice cream cheese, etc. as a stabilizer. It can prevent food discoloration and vitamin C decomposition.

In industry, DM STMP 108 as an important additive in the production of high throughput, high quality wallboard and gypsum board. It can be used to produce low-density washing powder, and can also be used to produce dry bleach, automatic dishwashing detergent, sodium tripolyphosphate hexahydrate.

Storage
DM STMP 108 is easily water-soluble and should be in sealed containers at room temperature in a dry place. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
Minimum shelf life is 24months from the date of shipping when stored according to the said conditions.
