Product Description
Dova PTFE 405 is a modified PTFE, after surface treatment, it has certain hydrophilicity. With the average particle size of 1.5-2μm, this PTFE powder, mainly for a variety of water-based coatings (water-based polyurethane/acrylic coatings and so on), to solve the dispersion problem in water. Can provide very low friction coefficient, excellent slippery degree, excellent abrasion resistance, slip, and scratch resistance in water-based coatings. In wood coatings, the product has good storage stability, and good scratch resistance in water-based industrial paint.

Dova PTFE 405 is used in various of systems, the additional amount of the micronized PTFE is generally between 5 to 10%.
Usually by way of a direct high-speed stirring, it dispersed in water-based coatings and printing inks. Through a variety of grinding machines and high-shear dispersing device, and the use of grind mill. Must pay attention to the control of the temperature. Pre-dispersing treatment can be performed to prepare a concentration of 20-30% wax slurry, when needed to add into the system, thus reducing the time of wax dispersion.
